| Dr. Jamal T. De Vita

Dr. Jamal has had the distinct opportunity to grow up benefiting from chiropractic care since he was an infant, courtesy of his father, Dr. Thomas De Vita. He has always been very active in athletics and credits chiropractic for keeping him healthy and going strong. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Vermont and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. After graduating he worked as an EMT and professional ski patroller at Sugarbush Resort in Warren, VT for one year. Following this hiatus he enrolled at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY where he obtained his Doctorate in Chiropractic. While at NYCC, Dr. Jamal was extremely involved in the campus community serving as the president of his class and executive treasurer of the student government association. He was also awarded various awards and accolades including two distinguished service awards and the diagnostic imaging award. He then graduated summa cum laude in December of 2004 upon which time he began work at De Vita Chiropractic. Dr. Jamal is also Advanced Proficiency Rated in Activator Methods and continues to hone his skills under the tutelage of Dr. Tom. In his spare time he enjoys playing hockey, walking his dog, and spending time with his family. | |
